Water Softening Grade
Water softening is carried out in water softeners filled with ion-exchange resins to soften the water prior to being used in the boilers and various other industrial, residential and commercial applications. As the resins are exhausted, they need to be re-generated by salt brine. Resins, along with the plant are expensive and misuse can spoil the plant or the resin. Quality of salt plays an important role in the life of the plant and resin. The water softening technicians know it well that poor quality of salt can even plug the valves and pipes besides making the resins being worn out before its stipulated time. At times, it has been observed that salt with very high residues of Sulphates have proven to be detrimental for the equipment.HUB-PAK has been serving the salt needs of this sector for a very long time. We are presently offering 5 different grades for water softening plants and all the grades are guaranteed for this application. Sulphates are maintained low, thus insuring a better and longer life for the resins and the equipment.
